Maris is located in Egmond aan Zee in North Holland. This fishing village is characterized by the large white lighthouse, the beautiful wide beach with its seven beach pavilions and the pleasant village with restaurants, terraces and various shops. The fair, which can be found every Wednesday evening in the center in the summer, is well visited by both locals and tourists.
The historic city center of Alkmaar (15 minutes by car) has a lot to offer, including various cultural attractions and the famous Cheese Market(from April to September on Tuesdays from 7 pm to 9 pm and on Friday from 10 am to 1 pm).
